Join John Crook and other River Conservation Society members on a walk along the banks of the Avon River to discover the river as a living being, the fauna who call the river home, the native flora that remains and the pressures facing this delicate ecosystem. Walk ends at the Environmental Discovery Centre to view and discuss with RCS members the river displays and enjoy some light refreshments.

Walks will start and end at the Environmental Discovery Centre, 7 Glebe Street, enter from Clifford Street York. Walks are suitable for all ages, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
