Jazz has found a new home at the iconic Faversham House in York.
Built circa 1836, Faversham House is one of the oldest manors in Western Australia. This iconic home is run as a bed and breakfast where guests can step back in time and immerse themselves in the grace and charm of the Victorian era. In September 2023, the historic manor will provide a stunning backdrop for the Faversham Fringe Jazz Festival.
Faversham Fringe brings together the cream of the crop … our favourite local and interstate artists. The three-day festival will present a carefully curated program, including traditional jazz, contemporary original jazz compositions, and the avant-garde jazz harp.
Sip champagne in the Secret Garden before enjoying an elegant soiree in the stone amphitheatre, marvel at the stars while watching a concert on the lawn, and revisit the golden days of jazz as the ballroom morphs into a late-night jazz club, where, needless to say … anything goes.
