Paper + Thread welcomes participants from across Western Australia and beyond. Set in the historic town of York (WA’s first inland settlement), it offers the opportunity to step away from daily distractions and focus fully on creative practice. The Wheatbelt’s slower pace and beautiful heritage building provide a strong sense of place and active creative community – creating an ideal setting for deep learning, reflection and making.

York and the surrounding region provide a range of accommodation options, from boutique guesthouses and self-contained cottages to budget-friendly stays, all within easy reach of workshop venues. We recommend booking early, particularly for two and four-day intensive  programs.
