Art and Craft Awards

The York Society Art and Craft Awards are held over 9 days from Saturday 8 October – Sunday 16 October in the historic York Town Hall. The 2022 theme is “Kambarang” – The Nyoongar season of birth, longer dry periods and an abundance of flowers and colour. The event is one of the oldest running art and craft events in Western Australia and is open to any Western Australians who produce art or craft works.  There are 11 art and craft categories including children to 12 and 13 to 18.  An additional award is for an artwork best depicting an architectural feature of the heritage area of “Blandstown”. PRICE: $5 on entry
