Simone Craddock & Adam Hall: Ella & Louis!

Ella & Louis

It’s 1956 and the streets of America are humming with civil unrest and change. As the world turns, two of its brightest stars walk into Capitol Studios Los Angeles, and just for a moment, time stands still.

Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong defined an era and a standard of musicianship that have delighted audiences for generations. Multi-award-winning Perth favourites, Simone Craddock and Adam Hall, come ‘cheek to cheek’ to pay homage to the greatest album and musical pairing of all time, Ella & Louis!

WA-born Simone Craddock was based in London for 20 years, performing in Europe’s most prestigious venues, including Ronnie Scotts, Houses of Parliament, and Cadogan Hall. She returned home to win the 2020 Music & Musicals Award for her Fringe World debut, Nina, Love Simone.

Adam Hall is an accomplished trumpeter, vocalist and composer based in Perth, Australia. He has worked with numerous talents including James Morrison, Don Burrows, 45-year-long former leader of the Count Basie Orchestra Frank Foster, Shirley Horn’s band, Vanessa Amorosi and Grace Knight.
