Music from the York musical Adeline & Edward

Adeline & Edward

PRESENTED BY ROB GARTON SMITH

Chris Gibbs and fellow musicians present, for the first time, twelve songs from Rob Garton Smith’s and Chris Gibb’s musical, Adeline & Edward. Written in York, Adeline & Edward is based on two tragic York stories: that of Adeline Cook, who drowned in a pool on her honeymoon, and the earlier story of a convict named Edward Bishop who was wrongly convicted of murdering a Chinese worker in the same pool. Chris Gibbs, together with Craig, Deb and Jess Skelton, will perform the songs.
