Emu Egg Carving with Elvis Moody

Try your skills at the traditional art of emu egg carving with Noongar artist Elvis Moody. All materials provided.

Born in the whealtbelt, Elvis Moody grew up in Toodyay. For most of his adult life, Elvis has enjoyed art. He started painting when he was 25 and carved emu eggs to pass the time away. Lately, Elvis has been painting totem poles, as well as his other art, and has pieces on display in the Bilya Koort Boodja Centre for Nyoongar Culture and Environmental Knowledge located in the Shire of Northam.
