Audible Edge York

Audible Edge York is a co-presentation with composer-performer, sibercha. With a focus on environmental listening, Audible Edge York will be presented over two events: a soundwalk, where audiences participate in collective environmental listening; and a concert performance featuring performances by Djuna Lee, Jameson Feakes, and guests. Featuring Holy Trinity’s pipe organ, music by medieval composer Solage, Clarence Barlow and new music by sibercha, Audible Edge York invites audiences to explore the implications that the townsite of York holds for listening.

Now in its sixth year, Audible Edge has dedicated itself to the exploration of sonic artist practices, including improvised music, noise, free jazz, electronic music, radiophonic art, avant-garde rock, field recording, and experimental composition.
